My first big adventure...

I just boarded the train to Osaka! This will be my first big adventure in Japan on my own. I'll stay in Osaka to attend a couple tango classes and milongas both tonight and tomorrow night. Apparently it will be live music tomorrow! Then Sunday morning I'm headed to Kyoto super early to see the big parade for the Gion festival and stay the night there for the festivities. I've been in contact with a couple students in each city that are with the same program, and found hostels in all the right places. Wish me luck and happy tango dancing!
